Speaking of Aquatic Plants, aquarium today that importance is given to the plants by the aquarist in the appearance or ornamental fish to live better?

Answer:
Hello Thomas,
I think the public is now aware of the fans about the importance of plants in the aquarium when you breed fish or invertebrates, in fact in many productions there is a guideline and use of materials more dedicated to the cultivation of plant species to ensure the stability of a "environment" right to life of fish or other animals. Known, however, that many still do not understand that the inclusion of fish should only be used when the tank has passed the first start-up and shows a good stability through growth and plant health: why sometimes it takes several months. Definitely linked to the aesthetic layout of the plant prevails over the "functional" but it is necessary to understand even better than a biological filtration is also guaranteed by a mass "green" proportionate to the aquarium and a fund workforce without necessarily having a dedicated filter for this purpose. This I have demonstrated on many of my articles and most of the aquariums I lead but do not have biological filtration but only pumps.

Dear Massimo Agrotecnica Iannella, AcquariofiliaItalia.it became aware of his passion for plants through its website http://www.rareaquaticplants.com we ask how did his love for them and most importantly, what does the name English which she gave to her Project Rare Aquatic Plants?

Answer:
My cultural education is born by nature for many aspects of the environment in which both alive and both my parents. From Agrotecnica Regional Inspector and then control the processes of organic farming I have my education very sensitized to these issues that led me to a deeper search through specializations in environmental protection and study of neighborhood parks in the area where I live. The work in agriculture and in the case of work in the greenhouse, I have conducted many times in my life to engage in passions such as gardening and Bonsai, ultimately the aquarium as a joke. Soon this hobby has literally taken the place of all others up to make me understand that, both nationally and internationally, lack of information and experience on rare aquatic plant species and difficult cultivation. Noticing that I was tired of the same plants, and that many fans had my same needs, so I decided to try the cultivation of many species wholly unknown to the world getting a fair result and feedback from friends both in Italy and Europe. Soon after the project was born RareAquaticPlants for my will and that only with great difficulty that I brought to what is today thanks to the contribution of several collaborators. To get an idea of the work done enough to think that after the introduction of many of my species number of leading companies have embarked on a new production lines and that species such as Eriocaulon sp. 'Goias', now found in the tanks of many European and Italian lovers, all come from my mothers first cultivated years ago and reproduced in captivity for the first time officially.
Lately also born IRAP (Italian Rare Aquatic Plants) to my will and some employees of RAP, especially Roberto Pellegrini, a project we are carrying out very important to preserve native aquatic plant species extinct in habitats of origin. We try to keep them alive in our tanks and all holders to which we give specimens are placed in a special register of ownership.

The plants in the aquarium have always been the Achilles heel for any aquarium enthusiast, if you do not care because the plants could jeopardize the balance chimimo aquarium, so do you recommend our users to Acquariofiliaitalia.it to buy a aquarium 'medium-sized fresh water for everyone, with the common fishes?

Answer:
I highly recommend thinking first "environment" and then the fish, as when we furnish a house to live better by putting all the accessories in order to have a high comfort. It is essential to understand that the aquarium is a living environment affected by large fluctuations due to a "buffer" that exists in nature but is the size of the places that the water masses present in the biotopes concerned. The first and foremost goal is to have a bath with a stable healthy plants that show good growth without the presence of algae, achieved this then you can think of sparing the introduction of fish in relation to plant mass and the litraggio. It is always better to grow plants for an aquarium easier manageable and functional species rather difficult too slow to achieve the above objectives. Everything depends mainly on the experience of the farmer but also the same humility in admitting his own limitations.

4 - Question
AcquariofiliaItalia.it
Based on its experience gained in all these years for the selection of important strains of plants, can you explain why cultivating plants for aquariums over another? And how long does it take to make a perfect selection?

Answer:
Often it is only the morphology of a given species to try to push the farmer in the aquarium and keep it in trying to play it, is a rather difficult undertaking that requires considerable skill and knowledge of agronomy, biology, botany, chemistry and plant physiology. For example, the first Eriocualon spp. I released, I managed to get it after 2 years of trials and failures also derived from a slow and difficult adaptation of species in the aquarium. Today Tropica Aquarium Plants important as companies are trying to play on a large scale of some of my plants through the information I have provided workshops meristematic. This is to have more enjoyment, preservation and availability of habitats for all fans of profiteering without taking action in nature. For a passionate normal is difficult to understand how difficult the path for a company of a "water plant" visible in stores in enclosures for sale, often the input is just from fans like me that through articles and forums convincing descriptions companies to produce them. The production process also involves a series of evaluations by engineers who often turn to the fans, as in my case, for more information and directions for the preparation of a project.

We read on her website that she often speaks of Rareaquaticplants.com kokedama can you explain what exactly is it?

Answer:
The Kokedama are a world first introduced with the name of wabi-kusa by Mr. Takashi Amano. This product gives the best results and ease of insertion in an aquarium without the use of tweezers or other aquatic plants as are grown on an organic substrate to be inserted directly in the tank without following cleavage or loss of consistency. In practice, the "hard ground" is introduced into the substrate and the plants rooted in it perfectly, without any kind of stress, such as pruning and planting, grow incredibly expanding with remarkable speed in a way never seen before. In my opinion today is the best way to get an aquarium with a guarantee of success with the versatility to use Kokedama compositions for outdoor and terrariums.

It is important to note that RAP, in my person, in the West today published the first independently developed a project for the establishment of Kokedama formulating a mixture of materials in order to obtain a substrate which maintains the cohesion even when immersed in water. All information dedicated to this product can be viewed by going to my site from RareAquaticPlants.

Thomas, thank you for the opportunity and interest in RAP.
Of the companies I think in Italy we have a leader who is spreading its products abroad, we speak of a. that Mr. Castaldini is expanding more and more thanks to the consensus obtained for his excellent work. I know several in Europe but the most important Tropica Aquarium Plants is no doubt that I am bound to respect and collaboration. With regard to the relationship they have with the fans, in my opinion, should listen more to consolidate and develop the information and suggestions. Fortunately I see that now try to take into account the most representative voices, and I personally have been included in the Tropica network of growers / specialists, such as C. Kasselman, Oliver Knott, etc.., Which refer to certain aquatic species newly introduced plants.
