Interzoo 2014 Certified exhibition data ensures sound event planning
The decisive features of Interzoo for exhibitors are the number, quality, international mix and professionalism of the visitors. This is shown by the Interzoo structural data regularly certified by FKM, the Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics, and by the results of the visitor survey – determined by a neutral market research institute. “The independent check of our structural data guarantees Interzoo exhibitors reliable information, sound event planning and comparability with other exhibitions, if these also publish certified data,” explains Herbert Bollhöfer, Managing Director of the Interzoo promoter Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH (WZF).
The data from the last Interzoo in 2012 shows that almost all visitors (96 per cent) are involved in procurement decisions in their companies. The largest groups of visitors included self-employed businessmen and proprietors (53 per cent), managing directors and divisional directors (20 per cent), and department managers (approx. 11 per cent). About three-quarters of the visitors were specialists from the trade, with another 14 per cent from manufacturers and seven per cent from pet grooming salons and veterinarians. The altogether 36,792 trade visitors came from 111 countries and the share of international visitors was 65 per cent. According to the visitor survey, almost all exhibition visitors (96 per cent) were satisfied with the product spectrum at Interzoo 2012. The information and contact opportunities at the exhibition also met the expectations of 97 per cent of the visitors. About three-quarters of them said they will also visit the next Interzoo in 2014.
